Celebrating 5 Incredible Years with Valley Eyecare Center! 
This June, we’re celebrating a major milestone—Jessica, our incredible Patient Care Coordinator, is marking her 5th anniversary with Valley Eyecare Center! 🎉
Since joining our team, Jessica has been a warm and reliable presence at the front desk. Whether she’s welcoming patients, answering insurance questions, or solving scheduling puzzles, she handles it all with care and professionalism.
We caught up with Jessica to reflect on her journey and share a little more about the person behind the desk!
Q: What was your first or most unusual job before joining Valley Eyecare Center?
Jessica: I worked at Rudy’s Tacos in Iowa—definitely a memorable start!
Q: What brought you into the world of eye care?
Jessica: When I moved to Phoenix, Trisha, our Office Manager, found my resume online and reached out because of my healthcare background. I’m so glad she did—Valley Eyecare Center has become a home for me.
Q: Can you share a meaningful patient story?
Jessica: A teenage patient wanted to play football but needed vision clearance. I helped his family navigate the process and got him the release he needed. I still remember his name—just in case he makes it big in college or pro football!
Q: What’s a typical day like for you?
Jessica: My day includes greeting patients, handling insurance, scheduling, and helping out wherever I’m needed. No two days are the same!
Q: Any new developments in eye care you’re excited about?
Jessica: I’m really looking forward to seeing Acuvue Max lenses for astigmatism become available.
Q: What do you love doing outside of work?
Jessica: I’ve recently taken up hiking—started about 5 months ago and I’m hooked!
